When you find yourself stressed and run down at your job… When you feel lost and defeated at work… If you’re longing for more meaning and purpose in your career… you can do one of two things. 1) You can continue working at a job that seems to robs you of your joy or, 2) You can take advantage of new career opportunities that align with your values and dreams. All it takes is a bit of courage to follow a new career path toward “a new beginning.”
Luckily, there are schools with accelerated, hands-on training, caring instructors, flexible learning and passionate leadership to guide our way. Schools like Advantage Career Institute Medical & Dental School in Eatontown, New Jersey are helping people make transformative changes in their lives. Students of ACI Medical & Dental School are able to transition from feeling stuck and worn down to finding new energy and excitement for their meaningful work.
On Wednesday, August 21 at 5:30pm, over 600 people gathered inside Monmouth University’s Pollak Theatre to celebrate the achievements of ACI students who received their accredited credentials to work in the medical and dental field.
Scott Chesney, President of the Raise Hope Foundation and Ambassador for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, and for Kessler Foundation, addressed new graduates in his commencement speech. He encouraged them to think back to the time they made the choice to train for a career where they can help and serve others. He described that lightbulb moment much like flipping a switch and letting the lights come on. He said, “There are times in our lives when we are on top. Maybe this is one of those moments we wish time would just stand still. We’re seeing everything. We’re in the moment and have a clear picture of everything going on around us. Capture this moment.”
Graduates of ACI Medical & Dental School are feeling empowered and ready for their future when the finish their training. “I learned that I always have the power within me,” said one student in her commencement remarks. “I made a choice to come out of the darkness and into the light.”
Another student said, “I chose ACI Medical & Dental School because it gave me the option to graduate within 4 months, the scheduling was perfect with me being a full-time Mom of 3, still trying to go to work and raise the kids. It gave me the opportunity and flex time I needed to attain my goals.”
The common thread for all graduates is the transformation they’re seeing within themselves when they find the courage to make a change in their career. Once that decision is made, students are given all the tools, training, guidance and career assistance that’s needed to find their “new beginning.”
In the words of a recent graduate, “life happens” and takes us down a course that we sometimes don’t intend. The years pass and we discover that we’re no longer happy with our jobs. Anyone looking to transition from feeling lost in their job to a new purpose in helping others in the medical and dental professions will find that their path leads right to ACI Medical & Dental School.
