Kick Cancer Overboard
Kick Cancer Overboard (KCO) is a non-profit organization with a unique and heartwarming mission: to provide free cruises to individuals and families affected by cancer. By offering a few days of relaxation and enjoyment, KCO aims to give these people a much-needed break from their daily struggles and financial concerns. At the event, Ester Jordan shared her experience selling handmade bracelets to support KCO, setting a record with 60 bracelets sold in just two hours!
Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide (SPTS)
SPTS is an organization dedicated to preventing and increasing awareness of suicide among young people aged 5-18. As the only organization solely focused on comprehensive youth suicide prevention, SPTS offers specialized training programs and mental health resources to empower teens, parents, school staff, and community members with the skills to help build a life of resiliency. At the event, Kyle Kalbach and another representative from SPTS had valuable interactions with attendees, raising awareness and providing resources for this vital cause.
Promly
Promly is an organization committed to youth mental health and fostering an environment that supports the well-being of young people. Through their dedication, Promly aims to make a substantial impact in the lives of those they reach. Jen, a representative from Promly, expressed her gratitude for the event and the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about youth mental health.
