Advantage Career Institute Medical & Dental School has recently partnered with the New Jersey Youth Challenge Academy (NJYCA) through the assistance of Ms. Stephanie Dearden. On May 24, we visited the Academy and gave presentations to many of their participating students, and as a result, there were several students interested in learning more about the training, credentialing and career opportunities we provide at ACI.
On Monday, July 30, these 13 NJYCA students visited our campus accompanied by Ms. Stephanie Dearden, Ms. Cynthia Carlucci, and State Sergeant Earnest Williams. During their visit, the NJYCA students presented themselves in a respectful and professional manner which positively represented the NJYCA program.
Also during their visit, the students were able to participate in the classroom experiences of all three of our programs:
- Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy, EKG, and Patient Care Technician
- Dental Assistant with Dental Radiology Licensing
- Medical and Dental Administrative Assistant, with Electronic Health Records and Billing and Coding
Based upon feedback from Stephanie, Cindy, and Sergeant Williams, the students very much enjoyed their experience here and some could visualize themselves in careers in the Medical and Dental field.

We are excited to continue our relationship with the NJYCA. Below are some photos from the students’ visit to ACI.
