On May 27th, 2022, ACI Medical & Dental School welcomed the NJ Youth ChalleNGE Academy (NJYCA) to their campus for a visit. This organization aims to train and mentor teenage youth to become responsible and productive citizens of their community, state, and country. The course provides a unique transformational experience through a highly disciplined 22-week residential program.
Steps include integrating a military-like training environment, inspiring academic offerings, and further opportunities to develop their physical, social, and intellectual abilities. In partnership with a mentor, they will receive continued guidance and support during their one-year post-residential phase immediately following graduation.
Members of the Alpha Platoon visited ACI Medical & Dental School in Eatontown on May 27th to learn about the medical and dental training programs they offer, including:
- Medical Assistant Program
- with Phlebotomy, EKG, and Patient Care Technician
- Dental Assistant Program
- with Dental Radiology
- Medical & Dental Administrative Assistant Program
- with Electronic Health Records and Billing & Coding
Each NJYCA member experienced a glimpse of what it means to attend ACI Medical & Dental School—learning basic steps in Phlebotomy, Billing & Coding, and other various duties befitting a Medical & Dental Assistant.
President Frank Preston and the rest of the ACI Medical & Dental School staff were proud to welcome The NJ Youth ChalleNGe Academy to the campus and show them what medical & dental career training is like.
