Becoming Dual Certified at ACI
At Advantage Career Institute Medical & Dental School, our primary programs fall into two categories:
- Clinical – Our two clinical programs provide students with hands-on training with state of the art medical equipment in our onsite lab. Students will learn the skills needed for assisting with medical and dental procedures and patient care, and the proper practices of working in a healthcare setting. Duties of medical and dental assistants can vary depending on the size and specialty of their workplace.
- Administrative – Our administrative program teaches students the skills needed to work on the business side of a healthcare setting such as a hospital or doctor’s office. Students will learn billing and coding, maintaining electronic health records, and more. Medical and dental administrative assistants keep offices and doctor/patient interactions running smoothly and efficiently.
If you have already completed one of our clinical programs, you can become dual certified by taking our administrative program as well. Or, if you have already completed the administration program, you can take a clinical program to expand your skill set.
