I can’t say enough about the program. From start to finish the staff are hands on helping the student with identifying a career path, helping to be successful in the classroom setting and then helping with career placement. They focus on the whole student and will address deficiencies immediately to make sure that they get addressed early on, so that everyone is successful. They have a high success rate and from what I’ve seen they have a high success rate of graduates finding employment either prior to or shortly after graduation. They have reasonable classroom sizes. They have tutoring available twice a week. 6 weeks of the program is done in the classroom, then 6 weeks in clinical rotation, along with an internship. The staff really goes above and beyond to make sure that the student’s experience is positive. I can personally attest to one of my veterans going through this program and being successful. He is 100% service connected for PTSD and other physical injuries (not unemployable) and was able to be successful in this academic setting. The instructors helped to make sure that his experience in the classroom was so that he wasn’t uncomfortable and decrease the number of stressors he was under. This allowed him to be successful. He was then placed at CentraState Hospital where during his internship they offered him a job. He had a job before he even completed the certification program.
