On August 28th, 2024 at 5:30pm, approximately 700 guests gathered at Monmouth University’s Pollak Theater to celebrate ACI Medical & Dental School’s largest graduating class in its 19-year history.
Commencement speaker Anthony Talerico, Jr., Mayor of Eatontown and Oncology Nurse at RWJ Barnabas Health, Monmouth Medical Center, highlighted our exceptional student outcomes in his remarks. “[ACI Medical & Dental School] produces graduating classes of medical and dental training students who pass national exams at exceedingly high rates and places them in the workplace almost immediately – even before they graduate sometimes.”
The audience also heard several inspiring student success stories from the graduates. One student, Crystal, shared how our school has changed her life for the better. “When I ask myself ‘who am I after ACI Medical & Dental School?’ I can proudly tell you that I am a certified Medical Assistant that got her dream job, bought her first car, and got her first place. And this is just my beginning,” she said in her remarks.
Behind the scenes, several other students shared their reasons for choosing our programs.
“I chose the Dental Assistant program because as a working mom, it worked really well with my hours. I was able to work during the day and still care for my son and then go through the program at night.” said one student.
Another student highlighted the future career opportunities open to our graduates: “I chose the Medical Assistant program with Patient Care Tech, Phlebotomy, and EKG because I want to eventually become a nurse. I am still in that process, so I thought that would be a good bridge program for myself. I did some research and found that this was the best option for me,” she said.
“As a graduate of ACI Medical & Dental School in the healthcare community, you are equipped with the knowledge and skills to make a lasting impact on society,” said President Frank Preston. “Your hard work, resilience, and dedication have brought you to this defining moment. Today, we gather to acknowledge your accomplishments and celebrate the promising future that awaits you.”
