Middlesex County Medical Assistant Program
At ACI Medical & Dental School in Eatontown, NJ, our Medical Assistant Certification program helps students become Certified Medical Assistants in just four months. The program includes hands-on training in our on-site lab using state-of-the-art medical equipment. With Medical Assistant jobs expected to grow by 15% by 2033, now is a great time to enter this fast-growing field.
Features Of Our Medical Assistant Certification Program
Our program includes added benefits that set us apart from others. Some key features include:
- NHA Certification. Students who successfully complete our program will earn certification from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). This prepares graduates to work in a wide range of healthcare settings—such as doctor’s offices, clinics, hospitals, and more—supporting doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Our 180-Hour Medical Assistant Internship
We believe that a well-rounded education includes both classroom instruction and real-world experience. That’s why all Medical Assistant students complete a 180-hour internship at a local healthcare facility.
This internship gives students the opportunity to practice their skills in a clinical environment, working under the guidance of experienced medical professionals. Each student is assigned a mentor who provides support and feedback while they learn hands-on techniques and daily responsibilities.
In addition to gaining valuable clinical experience, the internship helps students build strong resumes. Employers value real-world training, and this experience gives our students a competitive edge in the job market.
Internship schedules depend on availability at clinical sites, and students should be prepared to work weekdays, Monday through Friday. This program is designed to give students the tools, confidence, and experience they need to succeed as Medical Assistants.
